3.6 magnitude quake shakes San Jose
SAN JOSE, California. – A 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck San Jose early Thursday morning.
The USGS registered the quake just before 5:30 a.m., east of the Alum Rock neighborhood.
Lots of people felt it in South Bay.
Andrea Aguilar wrote on Facebook that she heard it coming and then felt a jolt in the nearby Evergreen district.
Leanne Burr wrote that she heard a creak and then felt stronger, rolling motion near Campbell.
Cher Ann said her bed and door trembled on Blossom Hill Road in San Jose. She also felt the recent 4.1 quake in Tahoe to the north.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or major damage.
