REVIEWS:

“The customer service here is in a nutshell. Although it’s a smaller store and has fewer choices than the other larger locations, it’s in a shopping pavilion surrounded by many other retailers, which makes it convenient. As well as the fact that the great staff there can find whatever is not available there and may be available in other locations and point you in the direction so that you can get the items you want. “- Jennifer G.

Zanotto’s family marketZanotto's family market

Zanotto’s family market works hard in their stores to offer exceptional and high quality components that are currently sourced, as well as items from all over the world. Food and family together at the table create something extraordinary every day. Andrea and Rosa Zanotto leave Italy with five children after World War II and settle temporarily in Venezuela while awaiting immigration papers for the United States.

They came to the United States in 1955 with ten children, and with the appearance of three more children, they became proud residents of the United States in 1962. The food industry had the appeal of doing work for its large family and delivering food for the table. Smaller businesses led to the founding of their Naglee Ave. business in 1976. Andrea and Rosa set the model of always working hard and never giving up their integrity while constantly providing great products and services to their customers.

Their example is with them today as three ages of Zanottos strive to keep their customers happy and come back. Troy and Patty Tibbils met in their youth as employees at Zanottos and are currently their partners at the Willow Glen, Express and Sunnyvale locations. Their families are both passionate about quality ingredients and share them with their families and the people around them.

“I love this grocery store! They have a wide variety of goods, from staples to ingredients you won’t find anywhere else. The craft beer selection is great! Good selection of wines. We often come here to pick up meat from their butcher – it’s always very fresh. Buy here and buy locally! ”- Emma M.

Lunardi’s marketsLunardi's markets

Lunardi’s marketsThe founder is Alfredo Lunardi, who was born in Lucca, Italy. In 1950, at the age of twenty, he left his native Italy to settle in San Francisco. By 1953, Alfredo bought a local market in San Francisco called Mother’s Market, located on 23rd and Irving Streets. From this basic start, Alfredo eventually opened 8 positions in the Bay Area with the support of his sons Ralph and Paul.

If a focus on private service is one component of Alfredo’s success, maintaining the best quality is the other. They have kept this philosophy since he handpicked every piece in the wholesale markets at 1am every day. As he has shown so many times that they can explain their prices, but they never want to have to justify their quality.

“Lunardi’s Markets is the place to go for great meat, fresh fruits and vegetables! I shop here several times a week. A bit expensive but worth it because everyone is very polite and you get the best service compared to the other local branded markets. “- Greg L.

Sprouts farmers marketSprouts farmers market

Sprouts farmers market The first store opened in 2002 to make organic food available to everyone. Until then, grocers selling fresh, organic food were either too expensive to shop or too hard to find. People thought they would be crazy if they didn’t sell the best-selling snacks, candy, and sodas in the country. But they believed that clean eating and healthy living weren’t just a trend.

With Sprouts, it’s their affection. And they knew that by focusing on farm fresh produce and other healthy, affordable products, they could create a shopping experience that didn’t require you to be rich to eat healthy. So think of Sprouts as the largest part of a real farmers market under one roof, open all day of the week. With their dedication to creating value across the board and their educated and friendly team members, they are sure that after shopping from Sprouts, you will also think diversity is good.
