Maple Leafs’ Joe Thornton lists the beautiful San Jose home for $ 9,500,000

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joe Thornton launches his beautiful San Jose mansion.

If you’re interested, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom, 7,081 square feet home could be yours for a cool $ 9.5 million.

The house is absolutely stunning, but my favorite part is the views from the back yard and the infinity pool. Just look at all the green.

The decision to list the San Jose home likely means the Sharks legend won’t be returning to California’s Bay Area in the near future. Playing with the Leafs for a year and reuniting with the team he was with for 15 years could have been an option. However, Thornton hasn’t won a Stanley Cup in his 23rd NHL season, and if that’s his motivation to keep playing, it doesn’t seem like the best place to sign up with the Sharks. The roster is currently in sixth place in the West Division after losing eight of their last nine games.

After seeing this property, it’s fair to say that Joe earned the nickname “Jumbo” because this house is huge.
