Police are investigating three early morning shootings in San Jose – NBC Bay Space

A third injury investigation is ongoing in San Jose on Saturday morning, with police responding to two unrelated shootings earlier that day.

Police announced shortly after 8 a.m. that officers were at a crime scene on the 100 block of Jackson Street in the Japantown neighborhood, but provided few details about the incident.

An adult victim is being treated in a hospital, the police said in a social media post. Two more shootings were previously reported.

At 1:39 a.m. in the 1900 Poco Way block, a person suffered injuries that were first classified as life-threatening. Hours later, authorities confirmed that the person’s condition had improved and is no longer at risk.

At 1:42 am, two people were shot dead on the 500 block on W Alma Avenue, but their wounds were not life threatening.

The units are currently investigating two separate, unrelated shootings.

The three shootings have nothing to do with each other, police said.
