SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) – A San Jose family is gaining national attention for their giant Christmas light display with more than 90,000 LEDs.
The Mattos family is featured on the ABC show “Great Christmas Light Fight”.
They have been decorating their 30,000 square foot orchard for 35 years. But this year is their biggest exhibition so far. From the lights to the circuit boards, everything is made to measure.

“My husband has grown bigger every year for the past 12 to 13 years,” said Cecelia Mattos. “He went with his grandpa or father or all of us after Christmas and bought everything that the hardware stores had left over.”
Her husband JR Mattos is also the exhibition engineer for San Jose’s Christmas in the park.
You can check the lights of Mattos Orchard every evening from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM through January 1st. The Mattos Orchard is located at 1545 Stone Creek Drive.
They will be featured in the Great Christmas Light Fight on Wednesday December 16th on ABC7.
