A popular entertainment option is coming to the Bay Area for the first time.
Combining golf, technology and entertainment, Topgolf will open a location in San Jose on Friday April 16. It will be the company’s first location in the Bay Area and the second in California – the other in the Sacramento area.
Topgolf San Jose, 10 Topgolf Dr. Located in the Alviso district, the company says it has 120 ball-tracking bays, a wine lounge, restaurants, hundreds of televisions and much more.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, health and safety measures are being taken. Reservations are required. People in the same bay cannot come from more than three different households. Face masks must be worn at all times except when eating, drinking, or hitting.
“The venue is equipped with social distancing markings throughout the venue as well as bespoke partitions to create barriers between groups,” Topgolf said in a statement. “Bays, golf clubs and game screens are sanitized after each group, and public areas are sanitized every hour by roaming cleaning teams.”
