SAN JOSE, CA – While detectives were investigating a shootout in a San Jose restaurant Friday night that resulted in two men being killed and three injured, a sixth man, who was also wounded, showed up at a local emergency room, police said on Saturday with.
Filming took place at around 11:40 p.m. at Nuevo Vallarta Restaurant, 175 SS Capitol Avenue. One of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene and another man died in a hospital.
Four other people who were shot, including the man who later showed up in the emergency room, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive, police said.
Authorities did not publish the names of the men who died or say what led to the shootings. No arrests were made. The shooting deaths were the city’s 34th and 35th murders that year.
Another murder, a stabbing death, that occurred early Saturday morning was the city’s 36th death.
